The Official Commemorative Plaque was designed by innovate, and is now permanently on display at the main entrance of the Jacksons Airport showroom.

The plaque is constructed from 3 layers of toughened glass bonded together. The hexagonal design reflecting the hexagonal architecture of the building.

The plaque was unveiled on the official opening night of the Jacksons Airport building. A permanent site for the plaque had not yet been decided, so the plaque had to be designed with the forethought that the glass would be removed from the plynth and latter incorporated into a permanent structure. Therefore a temporary stand was designed and built from black granite and was used for the opening event. (shown below) 

After several designs a final shape was chosen by Jacksons (shown right). This is built from brushed steel to reflect the interior materials used in the design of the showroom.
